INGREDIENTS 

  1. ONION 
  2. TOMATO
  3. 2-3 TSP VEGETABLE OIL/ ghee
  4. SALT ( As per your taste )
  5. 1 tsp Chilli powder 
  6. 1/2 tsp garam masala 
  7. 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  8. 2-3 Boiled potatoes 
  9. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 
  10. Bread slices 
  11. Coriander leaves 

METHOD : 

  1. Take a pan, add ghee or oil. 
  2. Once the pan gets greased , add the onions . Fry till it becomes translucent 
  3. Add the tomatoes and fry them till the portion gets reduced 
  4. Mash the boiled potatoes, add them and fry them together. 
  5. Now add all the remaining ingredients except bread slices and coriander leaves for seasoning. 
  6. Pour, Just 3 tsp of water so that they all come together and fry well 
  7. Take two slices of bread, grease them with butter / ghee
  8. Add the cooked mixture with coriander leaves between the breads and spread them . 
  9. You can also add cheese , raw onion rings and tomato slices to enhance the taste. 
  10. Now take a pan/ toaster / sandwich maker and toast the sandwich till you get the lovely brown color on the breads. 
  11. To make this like Mumbai street style sandwich , you can add coriander chutney and add the mixture between the bread along with cheese, raw onion rings and tomato, while presenting, add sev on top. This  sandwich will taste excellent even without that.
