1. Take a packet of milk
2.Pour it in a container and heat it till it boils over the sides
3. Pour lemon juice through a filter
4. After 10 minutes, you can see the water and milk particles getting separated
5. Take a clean white cloth and a new container
6. Keep the container below and filter the separated milk through the white cloth so that you can collect the cottage cheese separately.
7. Wash the cottage cheese with cold water .
8. Knead the cottage cheese for 10 minutes. Don't get panicked if you are not able to collect them together in the first go, It is natural and it takes time for all the particles to come together.
9. Make them into small cylindrical units and refrigerate it for 24 hrs.
10. The next day, chop the cylindrical units into small circles or any random shape of your choice.
That's it , Your paneer / cottage cheese is ready to be used. You can either boil and add them in any of your dishes or grate and directly add them in your food as per your taste.
