I read The subtle art of not giving a fuck and was excited to read the second part and it didn't live up to the expectations
It just keeps repeating . There are few take aways from the book . They are ,
1.expectations gives disappointments.
2.Pain is permanent.
3.Follow the rules and principles of a religion but don't lose its values in the process of supporting and marketing it.
4.Don't take social media seriously
5.Be genuine. Make people Happy because you want them to be happy , not because you will get something if they become Happy
6.Freedom is choosing your pain not choosing your pleasure
7.Freedom is inversely proportional to needs
8.Love unconditionally
9.If you want the world to be better, the change must start from you. When you change, people will get inspired and change themselves, that's how you can change the world
10.Be happy with what you have. That's it
11.If you have a perspective already, whatever you see will make you feel exactly like your perception. That's what he said in blue dot effect.if you think people are morons , no matter how good they are, you will look at them as if they actually are
12. If you get more or less than what you deserve , you won't be happy. That's what he explained in moral gap thing
There is a whole chapter talking about AI and types of religion ,which was absolutely un-necessary. It just made me feel when will I finish the book!!
I can give 2.5 star rating out of 5
